Title: Hist Masculin in Film From Ame

Description: What is masculinity? What are masculinities? What is a Man? This course will ask how these questions have been answered throughout the histories of the Americas, in particular Latin America and the United States, and their films. Moreover, students by reading theories and histories of masculinity and gender as well as learning how to read film and other audio-visual texts with attention to representations of masculinity, will develop their own answers to these questions.
